SWEET CHILI GARLIC GLAZED SALMON

Image
A five star salmon recipe with a delicious sweet chili garlic glaze on top.  The glaze caramelizes the salmon as it broils and will become an instant favorite that you will make again and again! I am so excited to be an ambassador this year for The Salmon Council.  If you have been following the blog, then it is no secret that I  love  salmon.   I love working with companies that I am truly passionate about.  Salmon is such an important part of maintaining a healthy diet.  February is American Heart Month and it is so important to add Omega 3 fatty acids to your diet.   Salmon is perfect for adding in your Omega 3 fatty acids and it is also enriched with protein and Vitamin D.  Did you know that adding in salmon to your diet can help to reduce cholesterol and lowers your risk of a heart attack by one third? Yeah, salmon is awesome.  I declare this recipe the BEST salmon glaze ever.  I made it three days in a row it is so good!  Even if you aren’t a huge salmon fan

SWEET AND SPICY BACON CHICKEN BITES

Image
Sweet and Spicy Bacon Chicken Bites  are your new favorite entertaining appetizer to share! As many people are getting ready to host or attend family gatherings for holiday parties or football games. You can be promised to be the top dog at the party when you walk in with a dish like this to share. HOW DO YOU MAKE BACON CHICKEN BITES? There are many ways to personalize your Bacon Chicken Bites. I choose to do mine Sweet with a little bit of Spice. You’ll notice that I roll the Bacon Wrapped Chicken in two different bowls instead of having all spices mixed into one. I do this because rolling them in the brown sugar after being rolled with the spicier and savory spices lets the sugar caramelize the Bacon and Chicken as a whole while it cooks. Start by Preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and spraying with cooking spray. Cut bacon in halves or thirds depending on how thick your chicken is. Wrap each piece of chi

CHIPOTLE STEAK RICE BOWLS

Image
Chipotle Steak Rice Bowls  are made with tender and juicy steak, bell peppers, corn and avocado over a bed of white or brown rice. Hey everyone! Kelly here again from  Life Made Sweeter  and today I’m sharing another tasty recipe to add to your dinner rotation. My family loves anything Mexican-inspired and these Chipotle Steak Rice Bowls has been one of our favorite go-to meals when we’re craving anything with Tex-Mex flavors. They come together easily in one pan with bell peppers, onions, and a juicy flank steak marinated with fresh lime and zesty seasonings. Serve them up by dividing the steak and veggies into bowls over some white or brown rice (feel free to use cauliflower rice if you prefer). Pile on all your favorite toppings like avocado, cilantro — plus a squeeze of lime—and you’re ready for a healthy fiesta. HOW TO MAKE CHIPOTLE STEAK RICE BOWLS Start off by making the seasoning which is a blend of chipotle chili pepper powder, cumin, smoked
